Annual Events Around the US
More or less in order by time of year
ArtCars on Ice!
February - or when the ice is thick enough
If you ever wanted to drive on water, this is your chance! Frozen water, that is... Firecracker hats, art shanties, the works for this procession. Oh, yeah, and, it's really, really cold! But all are welcome to join the natives.

Art Car Parade
April - Saturday after the Houston Art Car parade (usually)
This parade is by invite only, BUT, everyone is welcome to join the festivities of the day which include: a festival after the parade, a big ol' Texas BBQ, with junto bands and open bar.

Seattle Art Car Blowout
June - weekend closest to Summer Solstice
SACBO is part of the Fremont Fair. A mostly stationary event, but artcars get their procession time in as well. Fabulous hosts and parties and costumes!

July - third weekend of the month
This event sometimes invites artcars to be a stationary part of the event, but as of 2019, it doesn't seem to be part of the line-up anymore.
Someone should remind them what they are missing out on ...
September - 2nd weekend of the month
ArtoCade follows only Houston as the second largest art car event in the nation with 100 entries each year, and growing. They know how to treat artcar artists, and the party never stops. Cardango and the procession for the local prison inmates are highlights of the event. Also, Artcartopia has a new home!
