We actually start on Friday night at Discovery Green with
some art cars parked on either side of the Promenade (Crawford Street) to
participate in the evening of activities and then see the movie The Big
Lebowski!! Art cars enter near the Grove between 630 and 7pm,
parking under the awnings on either side of the walkway (that is Crawford
Street). There's a costume contest, human bowling, St. Arnold's and
more! The movie starts at 10pm and is not intended for children, the

On Saturday morning, we will start with breakfast/brunch from 11a-1p at Chicago
Beef, 1777 Airline, Houston Tx 77009. They have quite a large choice
of breakfast items that are available till at least noon, if not later.
All art car artists who order a meal will get a free non-alcoholic beverage of
their choice - thanks Rosie! They will be adding us to their events
calendar on Face Book too! (Huge thanks to Cony for suggesting this
location!!)
The children's art car making workshop will happen at the
Art Car Musuem from noon-3pm. Thank you so much to the Art Car Museum
for putting this workshop on year after year!
A Tom Kennedy / Ripper Society Art Auction is
happening from 3-7p at the Blossom Street Gallery, 4809 Blossom, Houston
TX 77007. Come out, bid on a piece, support the cause! (To
arrange a drop off time and date for your donated piece, please contact Melissa
Watson directly at Blossom Street Gallery, her cell is (585) 737-9524. When
dropping off your art, please prepare the following information for Melissa in

We will then cruise the city all illuminated at 9pm,
on one of Kenny Browning's fabulous Cruise Routes (thank you for your
help Tisha!) - parts unknown. Start point is 2808 Milam, Houston TX
77006, Khon's. The band, El Esque Ey Los "Spanish
Flies", with Little Screamin' Kenny, will be playing for us that night!
